My name is Casper Wigbels and since 2019, I have been the proud owner of Kinki Kappers Straatweg in Utrecht. I have been a Kinki Team member for the past six years and have been lucky enough to, together with my fellow team members, share my knowledge and passion about this amazing line of work with others across the entire globe. The Kinki Team represents our brand in many different ways and, to me, symbolizes a free haven for artistic and creative development.

I specialize in creative cuts and colours and focus specifically on shapes, cut-and colour compositions and challenging colour schemes. On top of this, I combine my knowledge of hair with my great love for photography. By doing so, I have been able to gain a lot of experience working on productions and projects within Kinki Kappers and have been lucky enough to work with extremely talented people across all fields.

My name is Michael van Doorn and I have been working at Kinki Kappers for eleven years. In 2018, I became the proud owner of Kinki Oudegracht in Utrecht and recently also became the proud owner of Kinki Amersfoort. I have been a member of the Kinki Team for about eight years now and originally auditioned for the team because I wanted to make the absolute most out of hairdressing. The team has allowed me to do demos, shows and workshops (to beginning and advanced hairstylists, alike) all over the globe.

The Kinki Team provides a platform to make things like this possible. You get the chance to do allt these demos/shows/workshops, but also get the chance to be a part of amazing photo-, video, and step-by-step shoots. Most importantly, however, is personal growth. My speciality lies with diverse, technical, disciplined work and it is of great importance to me that my looks are impeccably neat and have a sharp-as-can-be finish. This applies to commercial work, as well as creative work without limits.

My name is Peter Paul Wilson and I’ve been working at Kinki Kappers for just 18 years now. I hear what you’re thinking. What do you mean just 18?

Well, because I can remember my first day as an apprentice in this beautiful profession (18 years ago) as if it was yesterday. Every day, I went to the salon with a smile on my face and came home with an even bigger smile. My passion for this beautiful craft runs in my family: my grandfather and uncles had been running their own salons for years and when I found Kinki, I was finally able to fulfil my own dreams. From apprentice to trainer, from salon to stage and now finally proud owner of my own salon in Rotterdam. Even after ten years on stage as part of the Kinki Team, my passion for the craft is as strong as ever. I specialise in geometric shapes and even though cutting hair is my absolute passion, my love for colour offers the perfect finish. I love experimenting with shapes, colours and techniques, as long as everything suits my model. Hair will always be the leading factor, but it the depends on the full picture whether a look is fantastic, or just good. Experimenting with hair is never boring, will never be completed and a hairdresser never stops learning. That is what makes, and keeps, our profession so fascinating. ‘Don’t fear the future, create it.’ A citation from one of history’s greatest, which is literally inscribed onto my skin.

My name is Jeske de Corte. I am the proud owner of Kinki Den Bosch and have been a Kinki Team member since I was about 16 years old. Why? To keep challenging and educating myself and push my skills beyond its limits. By surrounding yourself with amazing hairstylists, you’re always pushing the bar, forcing yourself to keep moving forward and grow as a hairstylist. That has always been my aim.

And yes, I love being on stage! I really enjoy the diversity in my job and thus also train and educate beginning hairstylists until they’ve reached the top, also. I am also a photographer and shoot my own collections. Moreover, I run my own salon, in which I find it amazing to see my own Kinki family grow. The combination of creating an awesome cut through graphic shapes with a special colour technique is what makes a look for me. What gives it dimension. Like music to my ears…

My name is Sally Dijkman! I’ve been working for Kinki since 2015 and joined the Kinki Team on April 2019. I like being in the team so much, because developing my skills and getting inspired by the other team members gives me so much energy!

Some like colouring, some like cutting. I like the combination. Creating a super sharp cut combined with an interesting colour palette is something that really speaks to my imagination.

Hey! My name is Maud and I work at Kinki Oudegracht in Utrecht. I absolutely love working on photoshoots, videoshoots, and shows, as well as to give workshops and masterclasses. Through these type of projects, I get the chance to meet and work with other creatives, which is greatly inspiring and motivating to me, which I need for my own personal and professional development. I have only been a team member for the past two years, but have been given the chance to do all of these different things, which is just amazing!

The team is always growing and developing exponentially, which I think is fantastic. The fact that you are always being inspired to be the best version of yourself and to carry this forward to others, motivates me massively!

I specialize in colour. I am still exploring this field and am always trying to find new ways to incorporate my inspirations into new looks. Colours with a lot of different nuances and a great feel of depth make me really happy. Not just in hair, but in everything around me.

My name is Linde Heijstek. I am 23 years old and work at Kinki Kappers Hoofddorp. I have been working at Kinki Kappers with pride and joy since I was 16 and have been a member of the Kinki Team for five years.

Why? Because from the very start of working at Kinki, I have had a tremendous passion for both hairdressing and the company itself. You are not just a hairstylist, you work for Kinki Kappers and that is something that everyone at Kinki is very proud of.

I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could, which is the reason why I auditioned for the Kinki Team. At the time, I just thought ‘ah, let’s give it a go and see what happens’. Little did I know I would be doing so many demos and shoots in just a few years. I still do these with great joy, as it gives you the opportunity to keep growing. I specialize in colour. I love all colouring techniques!

My name is Renske Dirven and have been working at Kinki Kappers Amsterdam Middenweg for quite a long time, but will be proud owner of Kinki Kappers Amsterdam North in the near future!

I have been a Kinki Team member for six years now and love to share my creativity and love for hair with my fellow team members. Rocking out on stage together and enjoying each others work is what I love most about the team. By doing so, we are always striving to go the extra mile, to reach the next level, to be an even better version of yourself. To never stop learning!

I really love graphic looks with sharp lines combined with a subtle colour accent or a beautiful colour blending.

Hi, please let me introduce myself. My name is Iris Hoeben and I’ve been working with Kinki Kappers for more than 15 years. At the moment I’m working at Kinki Kappers Rotterdam Nieuwe Binnenweg. I’ve also worked at a vintage hair salon for a while, where I was responsible for education. I learned a lot of new skills there, but I quickly started missing the creative diversity of Kinki and being able to be my authentic self. Apart from hairdressing I also worked as a stylist and make-up artist in the fashion world. But my true passion was clear: I’m Kinki in heart and soul!

I want to share my passion, love and knowledge with other hairdressers through education, shows and photoshoots. This is how I ended up at the Kinki Team, an amazing chance. I have a broad taste in style and this shows in all my work: Vintage to hip hop and classical to punk! As a hairdresser I’m a real jack of all trades, and I love to get inspired by different cultures and subcultures. I’m also very passionate about discovering new things and meeting new people. I love to entertain people with my love for hairdressing.
