A Colorful Liberation: a new KINKI masterpiece about the importance of self-expression. Unleashing: “A Colorful Liberation”, a transformative show by Kinki Kappers for Redken Benelux where a grey, uniform world is shattered to pieces! Inspired by hair, music, art, diversity, and inclusivity, we break free from the mold and paint the world pink! This KINKI show is a unique performance and we couldn’t be more proud! Working together with 45ACIDBABIES for this show created a whole new meaning to collaboration, diversity and inclusivity.

HUMAN NATURE

The Kinki Artistic Team kicked off the annual LP Gala event 2023 with a very special show about the relation between our human nature and the Metaverse! According to Kinki the Metaverse is an extension of our physical society where light and dark coexist in us all. With their new show, called “Human Nature”, was created by utilising Projection Mapping, 3D animation tech and a spectacular aerial performance, Kinki Kappers makes a statement about what the Metaverse could mean for hairdressing, and humanity at large.

With 15 futuristic looks the Kinki Artistic Team shows they’re on the top of their game, continuing to innovate on color, shape and creativity.

GENESIS

A show we’ll never forget. GENESIS, a story about Identity and the question “Who am I?”. Looking through the lense of the pure self, played by the amazing Amenti Collective, we travel through different aspects of ID. Part 1: ID crisis tells the story of the journey within us to find our true selves. Part 2: Social ID focusses on who am I in relation to my cultural, social or geographic environment. Part 3: Augmented ID acts as a warning for a possible future where true ID is lost and only Digital and self-made ID exist.

RESURGENCE

With a new Artistic Director ready to take the wheel Kinki Kappers was ready to storm the stage once again at the LAB Event on October 10^th 2021. This year the Kinki Team is proudly representing both L’Oréal Professionnel and Redken in an artistic show with an important message. The show, named “Resurgence”, focusses on mental health, and that there’s light at the end of a dark, sometimes long tunnel. A debut show for Casper Wigbels, Kinki’s new creative brain: “Hair, make-up, choreography, music and fashion all work together to tell our story and to bring the audience into our Kinki world.”
